Qatar ministry endorses future planning event

Humanisation of Cities of Tomorrow Summit back in Doha

DESPITE the economic downturn still affecting most of the globe, Qatar appears to be a country full of optimism for the future. This was fuelled further with the announcement that, for the second year running, Qatar’s Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning is endorsing the Humanisation of Cities of Tomorrow Summit.

The event takes place on October 4 and 5, in Doha, and enables global city leaders, ministries and other influential figures to share their expertise and insights. The two days are the ultimate platform for progress and development of the world’s leading liveable communities of tomorrow and is facilitated by business information group naseba.

“The global recession is causing many countries to think about how to achieve future economic sustainability and growth. With its 2030 National Vision, Qatar is already experiencing impressive results with social and economic development. We welcome Qatar’s Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning’s seal of approval and are grateful for the continued support of this initiative,” said naseba project director Rissa Rosmawati.

The convention helps private and public sectors meet for high level discussions and business opportunities in one location. Industry experts will give key-note speeches and participate in interactive panel sessions focusing on sustainable city expansion and urban planning excellence as well as advising on economic, social, sustainable and human development.
